The columns of this table contain the following information and/or links to data files:
    Trial: Trial number for this particular animal and experimental session
    Species: Zoologically correct genus and species names. Note that scientific publications may refer to the same species with obsolete synonyms.
    Aretaon asperrimus = Obrimus asperrimus;
    Carausius morosus = Dixippus morosus;
    Medauroidea extradentata = Baculum extradentatum = Cuniculina extradentata = Cuniculina impigra.
    Animal: Animal number in experiment. Equal numbers refer to the same individual.
    Date: Date of experiment
    Height of stairs: Four experimental conditions were used that differ in the height of the stairs on the setup. The higher the stairs, the more the animals had to climb.
    Movie: Opens a digital video of the trial (side view first stair) in mp4 or ogv-format.
    Animation (Nexus): Opens a visualisation of the motion capture software in mp4 or ogv-format.
    3D-Animation (WebGL): Opens corresponding visualisation window within the browser. For successful animation, your browser needs to support WebGL.
    3D-Model (bvh): Downloads the kinematic data as a file in bvh format. For visualisation of this data format, you may use software such as bvh Hacker or Blender.
    Data (Matlab): For documentation of the data structures of the Matlab file, see the pdf document on segment specifications.
    Results: Downloads a pdf file with a set of diagrams displaying the results of this trial, e.g., foot trajectories and joint angles.
